Perishable items such as powdered products *cannot* be returned once purchased & delivered.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the structure of METAL PAINT TINS, whites, and tinted paints will not be deemed as damaged, should there be dents/indentations to the product caused by transportation.
Returnable items will have to be physically dropped off to one of the associated courier services used to return our products. Once the goods are safely returned you will receive a full refund on the purchased item, providing that the goods are not damaged, intact/unused, manufacturer packaged carded items such as sundries, tools cannot be returned if packaging has been opened the refund process can take up to seven working days from the returned dispatch.
Any other items including un-tinted paint products can be returned within 14 days of purchase, however you will be charged the associated courier fee which can range between £6-12 depending on location. Any return fees will be void if the *picking error* is deemed to be wrong from supplier, Dawes Paints Ltd.
If any damage happens during transit and you open your package to see that it is damaged/leaking, please immediately take photographic evidence and send it to [email protected]dawestradecentre.co.uk or [email protected]dawespaints.co.uk any damages will be collected/exchanged/refunded depending on the Customers preference.
A Return label will be sent by email for you to print off, if you do not have a printer we will have to post the labels to you which can take up to 48 hours.
All items returned must be in substantial packaging, especially when returning fluids. Please see below packaging requirements for paint/fluid returns:
- 10L: 30 x 30 x 30 Box/equivalent double walled cardboard
- 5L : 20 x 20 x 30 Box/equivalent double walled cardboard
- 2.5L: 20 x 20 x 20 Box/equivalent double walled cardboard
- Product must be individually wrapped in bubble wrap / equivalent
- Needs to be zero spacing inside box so it does not allow movement
- Secure round the lid with security tape or heavy duty equivalent
If the item(s) are damaged with insufficient packaging (if original packaging is not used) will be charged to the customer, so we advise to take a photo of how the item has been repacked.
Any colours mixed *cannot* be returned, so please make sure you are 100% about your colour choice before making your decision. Choosing a colour ON screen depending on contrast of your screen can look different to what you physically see, for this reason we would recommend ordering a colour sample.
